SAFETY: VISUAL FAIL SAFE: battery usage is monitored and if low volt detected, gear is deployed and stays DOWN AND LOCKED until the battery is recharged, providing the pilot a visual low volt indication. We feel that the radio fail safe is inadequate. When your radio fail safe activates it is usually too late to save the aircraft. INADVERTANT ACTIVATION: in the event of accidental on ground activation, the system will not allow retract operation and will simply shut down until you reactivate the switch causing no harm to the electronics or retract gear. DAMAGED GEAR PROTECTION: if you have had a bad landing causing your gear to bend to the point that it binds at any point through out the travel you know how important this feature is. The electronics will sense this overloading and shut down without further battery drain. It will then simply wait for you to use the deployment switch, and at that time, resume operation to the Down And Locked position. OVER AMP PROTECTION prevents battery drain. OVERVOLT PROTECTION: battery source is monitored for correct battery range and prevents operation if the wrong battery is used. WATCH DOG TIMER prevents runaway operation.
